I
was given these tools,
ten
digits to flex and manipulate,
with
which to grasp, to punch and pick, to turn, twist and let go.
I
was given these tools,
these
arms to swing high and low, these legs with which
to
kick, jump, crawl and walk, to stand upright, to run and grow.
I
was give these tools,
a
brain with which to think, to feel and emote,
to
imagine and create, to discover, to learn what I need to know.
I
was given these tools,
internal
organs with which to breath, to pump,
to
digest, filter and excrete.
I
was given these tools,
muscle
to motivate and propel, skin and bones to support
and
hold the whole assemblage together.
Oh,
and these tools would not be complete without the two feet
given
me, directing to, from and away, occassionally slipped into
a
size 12B shoe which fits most suitably. (The shoes, of course, are
an
accessory and are not included naturally.)
Tool
box damn near complete...
Let’s
build something! Did you bring the hammer and nails?
