The Rise and the Fall

The Coronavirus (COVD-19) Pandemic spreading

nationwide, the failure of our Federal Government

and incompetent Commander-in-Chief to take swift

and critical actions to supply the truth and to protect

medical staff and care givers with the necessary pro-

tective gear, the ambivalence and disregard of some

citizenry to sequester and distance themselves from

social gatherings will certainly weaken and quite likely

undermine and erode our precious and vulnerable

democracy. We who have enjoyed the fruits of our

society and privileged way of life may survive to

witness its demise. As with the rise and fall of other

great societies, recorded history will tell. Oh say can

you see the reality and tragedy of our precarious

situation? Better days are laid to waste.
