Precious Life

Life is precious,

we claim.

And we say it

over and over again

until the precious

lives lost

all fade away

into the passing

of days.

On and on until

the next life is lost,

precious we claim.

It is happening,

my friends,

over and over again,

day after day and on

into eternity

where all lost

precious life goes.

Even a cat

living his last life

must know.
