Shedding Some Light

Light is a particle, light is a wave? Light is both;

it is neither. Light is a mystery. Photons (from Greek

φως, meaning light), in many atomic models in physics,

are particles which transmit light. In other words, light

is carried over space by photons.  Photon is an elementary

particle that is its own antiparticle. Quantum physics tries

to explain the unseen elements of that which is seen everyday.

Photon Definition: A photon  is a discrete packet of energy

associated with electromagnetic radiation (light). A photon

has energy E which is proportional to the frequency ν of the

radiation: E = hν, where h is Planck's constant. Also Known

As: quantum, quanta (plural). Got it? Of course you don’t.

If some properties of the when, where, why and how of photons

and light baffled Einstein and other genius mathematicians and

scientists, how in hell are commoners such as you and I

suppose to comprehend? Many of us who have a basic grasp

of light’s elemental properties know that it travels at the speed

of 186,000 miles per second, the maximum speed allowed

by the laws of physics in our 3-dimensional universal community.

Enough of the highfalutin calculations. Lets stick with the basics:

By the light of day and night, in layman terms it's plain to see that

Trump is a dad-blamed idiot. Class dismissed.
