Something to be Said

There is something to be said each day.
This is the privilege afforded many of us
who live and breathe. We can chose to

remain silent, and this is fitting given a
certain time and place. Words matter, it
is said, and conversely silence is golden.

He or she must choose when actions speak
louder than words, it goes without saying.
Stick and stones indeed have the potential

of breaking bones. And yes, my friends,
weaponized words can be harmful in their
own way. Some impart words of wisdom

to live by; others spew verbal garbage of
division and hate. I have expressed my per-
sonal opinion here using coined phrases to

visually illustrate. You get the picture, I’m
guessing—words carefully arranged, some
would say, and without the further need of

actually naming names.
