There is a ledger out there somewhere,
a determination of good and bad, of saints
and sinners. It lies memorialized in the
eyes of those still alive.
Yes, we often elevate, ourselves to
judge, jury and executioner meting out
damnation or praise in the name of
the god of our choosing.
Every Western cowboy movie ever
made has its bad guys and good. It
is widely understood that the white
hat and black distinguish which is
which. (Of course appearance wise,
black is easier to keep clean.)
Frankly, the universe out there doesn’t
equate insofar as good and bad are
concerned.
Now, I’m not suggesting there is no
distinguishing right from wrong, It is
however a mankind thing. And we
do have laws and rules as far as that
goes.
Nature knows neither bad nor good.
Mankind sets the resolutions to suite
his judgment of that.
The tornado wouldn’t have been so bad
had it tracked along wide open unpopulated
land. It just wasn’t right, the bad guy did
what he wasn’t supposed to do.
Here, try on this black hat for size. I hate
to be critical, but the shoes you’re wearing
appear to be a size or so too large for you.
Just saying.
