Used to love those days
I created absurdities.
I could unravel the mind
and make no sense of
any kind, putting Z before
A, running the stream up
hill, shoveling snow in
summertime. Crazy stuff,
you know. Then there
were those days when I
could make sense out
of anything, a lamp on
a table and flowers in
a vase where they were
meant to be, the essence
of reality. There are 5th
dimensional days, days of
extraterrestrial universe-
ality, days of liverwurst
on rye to eat. Oh, and
the States of Missouri and
Rhode Island, states of crazy
out of my mind. In the Book
of Genesis, I believe it is said,
God created the seventh day,
Sunday, as a day of rest. Per-
sonally, I find Mondays and
occasionally Fridays work best
for me. God made his only son
a carpenter. We were never
told if he was any good at
that. I find Sundays tediously
dull. As for me, some days I
create; some days are a hell
of a waste, biblically speaking
that is.
