In between my daily routine activities, I managed
to move my bowels, smoke cigarettes, feed the dog,
eat lunch, talk with my son on the telephone, watch
TV and catch up on the news.
Groundhog day for me again. I hated watching it
over and again. In real life, though, practically
speaking, like breathing and the heartbeat,
repeat, repeat, repeat keeps me on my feet so
to speak, albeit somewhat painful hobbling
around. I must keep in mind, Beethoven is
always there at my beck-and-call when I
need him. Oh, what a relief it is. I broke up
this piece into 3 lines per stanza. Hope you
don’t mind. And, the hell with you if you do.
