Zorba's Dance

Listening to music from Zorba the Greek on my

Amazon Echo, I want so much to get up from

my recliner and dance, but these arthritic hips of

mine won’t allow me to make those moves anymore.

Ancestry, runs through me; it’s in my blood. My

Greek grandfather used to say that the secret to a

good life includes plenty of onions, garlic and

sunshine. Thank God I can still do those. For now,

I am satisfied pulling a hanky out of my pocket

and waiving it over my head…Opa! Grandpa

George passed away long before my Echo came

into play.
