A Discussion Between You and Me

You and I

You did and I have done as well

You come first and I follow

Rules are made to obey in order

to be grammatically correct

You may decide to punctuate

with a semi-colon here

I seeing things differently have

decided otherwise

You got an A on your English

exam in high school

I neglected to capitalize my

proper nouns and where a

preposition came before the

two of us even though I

constructed my sentence

properly putting the pronoun

you in front of the pronoun me

there was a preposition which

preceded the both of us and

mistakenly I chose I instead of me

Generally speaking you should

always come before me

Spelled out more clearly

this lesson may have made

a hell of a lot more sense to

you had I punctuated it properly

This way may have been

confusing to you

but I figured it would be

a lot more challenging to read

You may have chosen to

express things differently

but that issue is worthy of

intense scrutiny some other

time between you and me

In any case I may be the last

one you should take advise

from concerning the topic

up for discussion which

has been presented

here today
