I Still Am

 

Although I cannot explain,

the Universe out there

is nothing less than

incomprehensibly amazing

to me.

I could never be a physicist

or mathematician, beyond

simple 2 plus 2 math,

numbers, symbols

and calculations are

far to complicated for me.

I never had what it takes

to play sports professionally.

Muscle mass, exercise and

nutritional training were

never part of my physical

and mental regime.

I do have what it takes

on occasion

to be susceptibly

prone to making

bad choices

and stupid mistakes.

I did, however, manage

somehow making it to

nearly 77-years old and

gray in this lifetime

of mine.

By the looks and sound

of it, at this place in time,

breathing in and out, it

is apparent I still am alive.
