My thoughts brought me to
then took me away from you.
Contemplating and reasoning
was the thing of fulfillment
and failure, imagining such
things of human conditioning.
Rightly or wrongly, I had to
rise from one side of the bed
today. Choices, it is said, we
have choices to be made. I
say these things because I can.
There are word images spread
out before us we don’t under-
tand. How many “Qs” do you
suppose are contained in a can
alphabet soup?
How are we supposed to make
sense out of random happen-
ings on any given day? I never
expected to hyphenate happen-
ings twice in one day. None
the less, done is done, and the
show must go on.
By tomorrow these words
shall be used in a refrain
to explain something else.
