Lift-off!

I am not here to explain how it works,

I only know it does. I will leave the

details and particulars to the experts

and to those in the know. I am but a needy

consumer; I merely buy and use. I feed

insatiably on what is available, and for a

price is provided to me. And no, not me…

I’m not interested in your damn extended

warranty. Should it break down or become

obsolete, I’ll charge on the credit card or

take out a loan and buy a new one on time.

Simply put, and with the greatest of ease,

I’ll push the button, flip the switch or turn

the key. And bye, bye, baby, I’m gone. Lift

off, baby—practically speaking in layman
terms, I’m gone!
