Daily Find, Daily Grind Sometimes

It allows me the time

to ruminate in my mind.

It affords me the wide

spread use of vocabulary.

There within it lies,

a place of peace and

tranquility, a spicy,

dicey jocular menagerie

of hit-and-miss pro-

fundity, perhaps a well

intended smattering

of underlying morbidity.

A rhyme or two some-

times is a predicated

plausibility. Intended

for the beginning of

another day, verse

steeped slowly, ener-

getically percolated

with my daybreak

cup of caffeine,

these rudimentary

and profound lines

of mine intended

to lift and assist you

from the mundane

daily grind. And

let it be known

for what it’s worth,

it’s entirely up

to you to take it

from here. Here

we go again, you

may begin.
