soaking in the warm

Aegean sun.

On the Beach

of Mykonos,

I dance in the sand

hand in hand with

Zorba to the bouzouki

strings playing.

Lamb is on the spit,

squid sizzles in the fryer

and my Hellenistic

heritage is on fire.
