A
thought came today.
It
was a catchy few lines
risen
in my mind. And I
believed
it would make
the
perfect ending for
the
poem I hoped to
write.
But what then of
the
beginning? A new
day
does not begin at
sunset,
not unless you
are
used to working the
night-shift.
What then?
Hitch
your horse to the
ass-end
of the wagon
and
you could be lead
in
the wrong direction.
Perhaps
the end then is
actually
a new beginning.
Sometimes
I get all twisted
and
tangled up in semantics.
A
though came today. And
I
suppose I’ll just have to
wait
and see where it fits
most
appropriately. Could
be
at the beginning or
perhaps
the end. Not in
the
middle, though. I’m
fairly
sure that just won’t
work
for me. That means
I
would then need both a
suitable
beginning and an
appropriate
end. And that,
my
friends, turns out to be a
greater
degree of difficulty than
I
had bargained for originally.
Stay
tuned; we’ll see.
